I had some time on my hands yesterday and was motivated enough to already finish up the next comic strip, a second one for this week. I don’t know that I’ll be able to do two strips every week, but I will try to increase my output a little bit.

The new storyline is finally here! And it’s not a “Hipsters Vs. …” thing, either. I have a feeling this is gonna be my most ambitious storyline yet. It also might be the last one. There are only so many hipster jokes you can make, after all… But don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll be able to drag this out for a year or so.
The reason I took a little bit longer to get this started is that I was working on a few other things, such as the new JAZAM!, my Robert Crumb tribute, a new 24h comic, a book containing both of my 24h comics, and these pixel hipsters:
Hipster Band of the Week: Beaches
Finally, some action!
Originally, this and monday’s strip were supposed to be one big double feature, but I was taking too long and didn’t want to delay the comic again, so I split it up into two strips. But since it was already almost done on sunday, I managed to get this one done today.
Alright, then. The epic final battle is finally about to start. Maybe even as soon as this thursday! Until then, you can explore the previous strips at the archive.
Hipster Band of the Week: The Black Lips
A funny thing happened to me yesterday. As I was drawing what I thought was the next Hipsters strip, I realized halfway through that I had actually skipped two strips from my script! I guess I couldn’t wait to get into the robot fighting action and somehow thought the stuff in today’s comic had already happened or would happen at a later point. Anyway, with only a few hours delay, I managed to start and finish the correct strip, which I proudly present to you right here.
If you have no clue what’s going on in this comic, you should skip back to the beginning.
Hipster Band of the Week: Walk the Moon
This was one of the most extensive, elaborate strips yet, but also one of the most fun for me! Turns out monstrous transformations are one of my favorite things to draw.
Have you had a look at my new Archive page yet? Use it to jump to the beginning of the various Hipsters comic storylines.
Hipster Band of the Week: Tanlines
Here’s the newest Hipsters adventure for all you boys and girls! Lots of action, excitement, and bad puns!
In you’ve had enough of those robots by now, how do you feel about zombies? You might’ve read somewhere that I once drew a Hipsters comic titled “Hipsters Vs. Zombies”, back when zombies were still cool. Said episode was published in JAZAM! vol. 5 at the time and hadn’t been available online or in English. But now, I’ve not only decided to finally put the whole thing on the net, I’ve also gone to the trouble to translate it into English! You can find it in the new-and-improved ARCHIVE section or just click here.
Also, check out this little Hipsters illustration I published on my Tumblr.
Hipster Band of the Week: David Bowie (I know, I know, he’s hardly obscure… but I like his new song, and I’ve yet to meet a hipster who isn’t crazy for Bowie)
Happy New Year, everybody! Here’s your first Hipsters comic of 2013.
I have two links for you today that are only available in German, unfortunately. One is the video podcast Babble & Doodle, on which I appeared as a guest shortly before the holidays. All the babbling is in German, but the doodling part might be interesting anyway, as you can see me draw a Hipsters comic on the show.
The other one is an interview I did with Christopher Bünte for fudder.de, in which I mostly talk about this comic and hipsters in general.
Hipster Band of the Week: AC Newman
Just in time for christmas, here’s a brand-new double-sized Hipsters comic. This’ll most likely be the last one for the year, as I’ll spend the next week in Berlin and probably won’t have too much time for drawing.
So happy christmas/hanukkah/kwanzaa/winter solstice/holidays to all of you! See you on the other side!
